"Build 'Em All: Rapid Design"
A Learning Design Team Hackathon
Sometimes internal training events require a fun theme to get those creative juices flowing. The AI Hackathon was a two-day team event for the learning design team to utilize Claude and Canvas courses to develop Micro-Credentials based on already developed content. The theme, "Build 'Em All" was inspired by Pokémon's "Gotta Catch 'Em All" slogan. This instructor-led-training guided teams through identifying viable micro-credential options based on market demand and rough drafts of a possible course.
ASU FOLC Fest 2026 Demo Presentation
Future of Learning Community (FOLC) Fest is an annual conference at Arizona State University to learn and share about the latest in learning design. I hosted a demonstration table in collaboration with a colleague to show how we leveraged agentic AI for meeting accessibility compliance for courses in Canvas.
Note: This demo was created using Articulate Rise's Code Block and set with a timer to continuously run on a vertical monitor while we talked about accessibility, AI, and course design.
Computer code vortex with Alice in Wonderland inspired characters swirling and designers coding on screens. The presentation title overlays the image in bold white font.

Created in Articulate Storyline this brief course leverages multiple design, audio, and video tools including: Adobe Audition, Nvidia Broadcast and OBS Studio, Adobe Firefly and Adobe Express.  The final assessment is a situational based branching scenario testing application of concepts, not fact recall.
Created for a graduate class assignment using AI tools:
This sweet story was created using various AI and video editing tools including: ChatGPT, Amazon Poly, Adobe FireFly, and Adobe Express.
Created with Vyond
A short, clear video covering basic virtual meeting etiquette. There are many design tools to create animated videos to embed in e-learning content and I'm very comfortable adapting to new design tools for enhanced learning experiences.
